Education : Projects in Cambodia
Schools in Cambodia

The HGCF invests in education and health in Cambodia. Since September 2004 the HGCF has funded schools in small squatter communities outside the capital city of Phnom Penh. Over 520 children are served in 5 schools in the region. Literacy initiatives touch children ages five through grade six with a goal of assisting these students with completion of high school.

HGCF also supports a group of orphans outside of the capital to provide sustenance for the children so they can focus on education rather than basic nutritional needs. In addition, the foundation with partners, has funded a capital project creating a medical clinic serving over 2000 people per month with an emphasis on maternity care for women and children.
