HAYDENVILLE WOMAN RECOGNIZED FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT
 
 
Tali Serota has been recognized for demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit by the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative. Serota, who is pursuing a certificate in Business Entrepreneurship at Greenfield Community College, will be among the students honored at the Foundation’s annual banquet to be held Wednesday, April 29th at The Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA.
 
Serota, a resident of Haydenville, created Gratitude Gear Designs, a fair-trade import clothing company featuring unique and fabulous clothing from Thailand for men and women of all ages. The entire line has been designed to inspire gratitude, playfulness and joy and can be viewed at gratitude gear.net.
 
Last year more than 50 students attending colleges and universities in the Pioneer Valley were recognized by the Grinspoon Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative for demonstrating “entrepreneurial spirit”. Individual awards range from $500 to $2,000.                                                                                                                                              
Participating institutions include: American International College, Bay Path College, Elms College, Greenfield Community College, Hampshire College, Holyoke Community College, Mt. Holyoke College, Smith College, Springfield College, Springfield Technical Community College, University of Massachusetts, Western New England College and Westfield State College.

WNEC STUDENT RECOGNIZED FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT
 
 
Michael Beck has been recognized for demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit by the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative. Beck, who is pursuing a marketing degree at Western New England College, will be among the students honored at the Foundation’s annual banquet to be held Wednesday, April 29th at The Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA.
 
Beck, who hails from Whitesboro, NY is the founder of Forget Fences, an “edgy and stylish” line of clothing inspired by Beck’s (and America’) favorite pastime- baseball. He has developed a portfolio of designs and is actively designing t-shirts for organizations and events around campus.
 
Last year more than 50 students attending colleges and universities in the Pioneer Valley were recognized by the Grinspoon Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative for demonstrating “entrepreneurial spirit”. SPRINGFIELD COLLEGE STUDENT RECOGNIZED
FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT
 
 
Michael Fiorini has been recognized for demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit by the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative. Fiorini, who is pursuing a business management degree at Springfield College, will be among the students honored at the Foundation’s annual banquet to be held Wednesday, April 29th at The Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA. The Bristol, CT native is the owner of Scorpion Arms, LLC, an e-commerce website for firearms, parts and accessories. 
 
Last year more than 50 students attending colleges and universities in the Pioneer Valley were recognized by the Grinspoon Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative for demonstrating “entrepreneurial spirit”. EASTHAMPTON WOMAN RECOGNIZED FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT
 
 
Laura Mae Douglass has been recognized for demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit by the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative. Douglass, who is pursuing a dual master’s degree in Healthcare Management and Nursing Education at Elms College, will be among the students honored at the Foundation’s annual banquet to be held Wednesday, April 29th at The Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA.
 
Douglass, a resident of Easthampton, MA, is the co-owner of the popular Apollo Grill, a restaurant and bar located in the historic Eastworks building in Easthampton. Specializing in “familiar fare with a sense of adventure”, the mid-century modern influenced establishment offers fine food at affordable prices in a playful atmosphere that pays homage to the Apollo space program.

Paul Wydra III has been recognized for demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit by the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative. Wydra, who is pursuing a degree in Information Technology at Western New England College, will be among the students honored at the Foundation’s annual banquet to be held Wednesday, April 29th at The Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA.
 
Wydra, a resident of Milford, CT, is the founder and owner of WydraTEK LLC, a computer repair services company. The company’s tagline is Technology Assistance at Your Fingertips. Their competitive advantage is their low price and their complete satisfaction guarantee. WydraTEK offers computer repair, upgrades, virus and software removal, data recovery, small business IT solutions and innovative Web services. They service all major computer brands. Their website customers include: Chris Kvaka Motorsports, CT Diners, Foran Chemical Society, Marc Automotive, and Milford Indians Hockey.

WILLIAMSBURG MAN RECOGNIZED FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT
 
 
Eli Ahrensdorf has been recognized for demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit by the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative. Ahrensdorf, who is pursuing a degree in business administration at Greenfield Community College, will be among the students honored at the Foundation’s annual banquet to be held Wednesday, April 29th at The Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA.
 
Ahrensdorf, a resident of Williamsburg, MA is the founder and owner of Ahrensdorf Glass. He creates glass pendants from his workspace at the Angelic Glass Studio in Shelburne Falls and sells his work at local outlets including The Hempest in Northampton and the Young & Constantin Studio and Gallery in Shelburne Falls. Since becoming interested in glass arts several years ago, he has secured internships at Corning Glass in Corning, NY and at Angelic Glass.

BRANDY DEVENO RECOGNIZED FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT
 
 
Brandy Deveno has been recognized for demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit by the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative. Deveno, who recently graduated from Bay Path College with a degree in business administration,     will be among the students honored at the Foundation’s annual banquet to be held Wednesday, April 29th at The Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA.
 
A resident of Westfield, Deveno runs an interior design firm with a mission to create distinctive and functional environments that reflect the individual needs and design goals of the client. Services offered by Deveno Interior Design include space planning, selection of furniture, fabric and décor, color consultation, custom window treatments, re-design, green design and home staging.

AMY B. PERRAULT RECOGNIZED FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT
 
 
Amy B. Perrault has been recognized for demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit by the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Initiative. Perrault, who is pursuing an MBA in Entrepreneurial Thinking and Innovative Practices at Bay Path College, will be among the students honored at the Foundation’s annual banquet to be held Wednesday, April 29th at The Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA.
 
Perrault, a resident of Bloomfield, CT, has created a unique culture for single women with her online blog: No, You Can’t Buy Me a Drink: The Life of Josie M. “Ridiculously fabulous and fabulously ridiculous” single-girl stories are shared on the blog, which generates revenue through a variety of click-through ads. Her website address is www.lifeofjosiem.com.
