Health and Wellness Grants
HGCF has had a deep connection with health and wellness programs in the region. The foundation has established a number of sub-funds to supportgroundbreaking research in medicine and patient care. It has also provided "support to organizations involved in treating Alzheimer’s and cancer.
Furthermore, it has provided sustained funding to the Arnold and Sandra Gold Foundation in support of the Golds’ visionary leadership in promoting humanism in medical research, training and practice. Combined endowments in this area totaled $1.210 million in 2001-2002 and $1.258 million in 2002-2003.
